TMJ Mastery

The jaw or the Temporomandibular joint is a major and common joint disorder. It is responsible for biting, chewing, swallowing, speaking and making facial expressions. Symptoms of this condition are headaches, clicking/poping of the jaw, grinding, inability to open the mouth comfortably, neck/shoulder, ear pain and more. Inter-oral and facial techniques target the masticatory musculature, which helps gain movement and reduce pain.

Deep Tissue

Deep Tissue Massage concentrating on the deeper layers of the body’s soft tissues. It aims to release chronic patterns of tension in the body, through slow strokes and deep pressure on the contracted area(s). This type of massage is highly beneficial for people who suffer from consistent muscle pain, especially in the muscles around the neck, lower back and shoulders. This can be caused by work related postural problems, leisure activities such as gardening, sports and exercise related injuries, and can also be the end-result of long-term emotional stress and tension.

Acupressure is an ancient healing art using the fingers to gradually press key healing points, which stimulate the body's natural self-curative abilities. Acupressure is very similar to Acupunture by releasing tension, increasing circulation and reduceing pain, but Acupuncture employs needles while Acupressure uses gentle to firm finger pressure. When these points are stimulated, they release muscular tension, promote circulation of blood, and enhance the body's life force energy to aid healing.

Pregnancy Massage

Back pain can continue throughout pregnancy and even after. If you have to carry around other small children you may find your symptoms exacerbated during pregnancy.
